A chartered accountant with a bachelor's degree in business administration, Michel Bédard joined Desjardins Group in 1995 as Regional Vice-President, Real Estate Investments. He previously held various positions at different real estate companies. The expertise he has developed in the real estate field includes property management, asset management and development projects. As Vice-President, Real Estate Investments at Desjardins Asset Management since 2001, Michel Bédard has managed a Canada-wide real estate portfolio of 1.3 G$. He has played a decisive role in numerous real estate transactions and projects including E-Commerce Place in Montréal.
