Alternative Term Savings (ATS) and
Perspectives Plus Term Savings (PPTS) are structured savings
products launched in April 1999 and June 2004 respectively.
Their popularity is due to the fact that ATS and PPTS can offer
higher returns than term deposits while maintening a volatility of
returns significaviely less than stock market indexes and
often even bond portfolios.
