Perspectives Plus Term Savings

Perspectives Plus Term Savings (PPTS) offers access to a wide range of financial assets, on both Canadian and international markets, as well as dynamic management of asset allocation. PPTS has characteristics never before seen in a Desjardins indexed term savings product. Like DATS, PPTS was designed and is managed by the experts at Desjardins Global Asset Management, a subsidiary of Desjardins Asset Management.

The objective of Perspectives Plus Term Savings (PPTS) is to capitalize on all asset classes offered on the stock market. Thus, this financial product offers the advantages of a balanced fund, but with a much more stable yield structure, similar to that of a fixed income product.

PPTS offers an exposure not only to the bond market and global stock markets but also to the commodity and real estate trust markets, catastrophe bonds and other insurance risks, hedge funds and futures funds.

However, this exposure to financial markets is not indexed; in other words, it does not track the stock market. In fact, its performance is the result of the efforts, among others, of more than 24 equity managers, four commodity managers and 40 hedge fund and futures fund managers.
